Mark began his legal career in 1986 as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney with Pierce County and moved on to work with a criminal defense firm in 1988. In 2002 Mark started his own criminal defense firm, The Law Office of Mark Treyz.

Thomas Balerud, after 17 years with the same firm, has opened his own law practice, located in downtown Tacoma. Tom is a graduate of both Pacific Lutheran University and the University of Puget Sound. Tom has enjoyed success in many well publicized high-profile State and Federal cases.
