As a founding partner of Commonwealth Law Group, Seth handles challenging litigation for clients and their families who have suffered serious injuries or death, catastrophic on-the-job injuries, and for those who have been discriminated against or deprived of their constitutional rights. Such constitutional rights cases often involve injuries resulting from constitutional deprivations, such as clients who have suffered excessive force by law enforcement or those subjected to cruel and unusual punishment in prison. Seth currently holds the record for the largest recovery for a Virginia prisoner based on claims that they suffered injuries while in prison.

Karl Moses is an associate in the firm's Creditor's Rights, Bankruptcy and Insolvency section. His practice focuses on creditors' rights, commercial litigation, insolvency, workouts and foreclosures. He primarily represents banks and other lending institutions. Karl has extensive experience representing mortgage lenders in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy proceedings in the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts of the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia. His experience includes advising clients on their rights and remedies under the bankruptcy code and handling the full suite of filings necessary to protect clients' rights. Karl also has experience with state court collections and judgment enforcement.

STEPHEN V. SOMMERS (licensed in Virginia 1999, Texas (1997), Maryland (1996)), was born at Camp Pendleton, CA, October 4, 1956 and educated at Troy State University (B.S., Summa Cum Laude, 1981), Golden Gate University (M.A., 1986) and American University (Juris Doctor, 1995). Richard grew up in Petersburg, Virginia. He graduated from American University in 2005 and received his J.D. from the Washington College of Law at American University in 2011. While in law school, Richard was a member of the Mock Trial Honor Society and served as the Society's President from 2010-2011. He also interned for the ACLU of the Nation's Capital and clerked for the Montgomery County Office of the Public Defender. Currently, Richard focuses his practice on helping the injured and disabled.

Amanda is a director and the Chair of the McCandlish Holton Workers' Compensation Practice Group. Her practice is primarily focused on advising employers and insurance carriers on the defense and resolution of workers’ compensation claims.

Amanda handles all aspects of workers’ compensation litigation, including discovery, hearings, settlement, appeal, and mediation.
