Roya was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, and returned to her hometown after several years of practicing family law in Austin, Texas. While in law school at the University of Texas, Roya focused her studies on domestic violence and international human rights law. Theresa has represented numerous clients in federal courts around the country in intellectual property disputes involving a wide range of technologies, including e-commerce, computer software, encryption, telecommunications, network architecture, and mobile applications.
