Leon received a bachelor's degree from Texas Christian University, where he majored in political science with a minor in history. He received his law degree from Texas Tech University School of Law. After graduating from law school in 2003, Leon moved back to Fort Worth and founded The Law Office of Leon Reed Jr. He is an active member of the Tarrant County Bar Association, the Tarrant County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. John Mallios completed his Doctorate of Juris Prudence from Salmon P. Case, College of Law in 1978. After his successful completion of the Texas Bar Exam, he became a licensed attorney in all state and federal courts in all districts in the state of Texas in May of 1979.
