Attorney David M. Boyd, founding member of The Boyd Firm, PC, is completely focused on Litigation. The Boyd Firm focuses on four areas of law. David Draper is a Knoxville native and the senior shareholder in the firm’s Knoxville construction law practice group with over 30 years of experience in construction claims. He is an AV-rated trial lawyer with broad experience in civil litigation, arbitration, and mediation. His law practice is concentrated in construction claims involving such issues as defective workmanship, delay claims, bid disputes, design error, and payment claims. His clients include both residential and commercial owners and developers, designers, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers and lenders and insurers. He has also handled complex insurance coverage disputes involving construction.

Mr. Eldridge was educated at the University of Tennessee, receiving his undergraduate degree in 1982. He graduated from the Wake Forest University School of Law, cum laude, in 1986. While there, he served as the Editor-in-Chief of its law review publication. Following graduation, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable W. Eugene Davis of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
