A St. Mary’s County native, she is a graduate of Leonardtown High School. After missing family and the waterfront in Southern Maryland, she and her husband are thankful to have returned home to raise their family and be more active in the community they grew up in.

Attorney Adams, born in Montgomery, AL, graduated from Oberlin College in Ohio, and moved to Washington, DC to attend American University's Washington College of Law.
