Robert A. Vélez-Montes obtained a BA in Political Science, Cum Laude, from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico, graduating first among the political science major graduates. He also graduated top 10% of his law school class, Magna Cum Laude, and was the recipient of the Francisco Parra Toro Award for having the highest grade in Civil Law courses.
