Born in South Korea, raised in Argentina, I obtained my law degree from Washburn Law School in Topeka, Kansas in 1994. Since then, I have been delivering high quality, competent and personalized legal service to my clients. I am fluent in English, Spanish and Korean. My early days as an attorney was in public service as a staff attorney for legal aid offices and then as an assistant county attorney at prosecutor's offices. Since 2003, I have been in private practice with emphasis in criminal law, family law, probate litigation and estate planning.

Kathryn Liptrap moved to Texas in 1997 while in the U.S. ARMY, where she served as a PATRIOT missile System Technician. She has lived in Montgomery County since 2001, after her Honorable discharge from the ARMY.
