Cynthia Rayhorn is a probate and adult guardianship attorney. My firm is Benkert Law, PLLC. I serve Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas Counties. If a loved one dies, I help the personal representative or executor by navigating the Probate process. I establish guardianships for people with developmental disabilities and incapacitated adults.

Colleen is a Florida native who grew up in Gainesville before moving to Tallahassee to attend Florida State University. After graduating with a double major, Colleen moved to the St. Petersburg area to attend Stetson University College of Law. After she was admitted to the Florida Bar, Colleen joined a small family law firm where she gained extensive experience handling cases involving divorce, paternity, custody, and adoption. Colleen then shifted her practice to estate planning after seeing first-hand the complications that arise within families.

I am a native Floridian raised in Daytona Beach, Florida. Since I first learned about the U.S. Constitution and the civil rights cases of the 1950s and '60s when I was a young boy, I knew I wanted to be a lawyer: to help and serve people when liberty, freedom, or property are on the line; to ensure justice is served.
