I have been practicing law for approximately 35 years, with extensive experience in commercial, insurance, family, probate and personal injury litigation. Because of my education background, my practice is 50% litigation and 50% business transactions, wills, trust and probate.

Born in Mexico City, Attorney Cesar Tavares grew up in northern Utah and joined Arnold & Itkin LLP in 2014. Cesar served his church as a volunteer missionary for two years and then went on to earn degrees at Utah Valley State College, Brigham Young University, and Harvard Law School. He graduated from all three institutions with honors. Notably, he routinely settles Personal Injury cases for the maximum insurance policy limit and has secured well over 500 Dismissals in Harris County alone.

Emma grew up in Houston, Texas. She later moved to San Marcos, Texas and received a Bachelor of Arts in English at Texas State University. In college, she discovered her passion for justice and advocacy. After graduating from college, Emma knew she wanted to return to her roots and practice law in Houston. Emma received her law degree from the University of Houston Law Center. At UH, she gained valuable courtroom experience while interning for the Honorable Nancy K.
