Trace Fryar was born and raised in Arkadelphia, where he graduated from Arkadelphia High School. He remained in his hometown to attend Ouachita Baptist University, where he completed his undergraduate degree in finance. Upon graduating from Ouachita, Fryar went on to obtain his law degree at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law.
