I have represented people charged with criminal charges for over 20 years. In the last ten years, I have been at my own law firm. From 1990-2000, I was in the public defenders office. I represent people in Missouri and Illinois State Courts, Federal Court, and Municipal Court.

I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis, where I earned academic all-conference honors while playing varsity football. I received my law degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia, where I was inducted into the National Order of Scribes, recognizing five graduating law students who demonstrated the highest degree of professionalism and excellence in the area of legal writing. I was the first head of the Office of the U. S. Trustee in St. Louis (1988-93) and have served as a chapter 7 trustee from 2004 through the present.
