Mike was born in St. Cloud, MN. He is a graduate of St. John's University and William Mitchell College of Law. He has over 34 years of legal experience, including 31 of those years being in the St. Cloud area. My practice primarily consists of being the City Prosecutor for two cities in Wright County, Minnesota. I handle criminal cases (petty misdemeanors, misdemeanors, and gross misdemeanor driving offenses) for these two cities from initiation of charging through the appeals process.

Carol has been practicing in the areas of estate planning, probate, real estate, tax and business law for over 25 years.

I started my practice in Brainerd in 1975. In my early years I had a general practice with a focus on real estate and municipal law. As I gained a lot of courtroom experience I narrowed my focus to personal injury and workers compensation on the plaintiffs side. I became a certified trial specialist by the Minn. State Bar Assn. in 1995 and was selected as a leading Minn. Attorney by the American Research Corp. in 1997. In 2017 I was designated as one of the top 100 attorneys in Minnesota.

I was raised in Minnesota. My academic journey took me to St. Mary’s University of Minnesota in Winona, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in business, graduating cum laude. I furthered my education at the University of St. Thomas School of Law, where I held the position of senior editor for the Law Journal and worked as a certified student attorney in the Elder Law Clinic. My legal practice is centered around family law, real estate, and estate planning.

I dedicate my law practice to resolving tax controversies for individuals and businesses. During the past thirty-eight years, I have assisted thousands in federal and state actions. I maintain an AV rating from Martindale Hubbell (more than 25 years), an Avvo rating of 10 (the highest available), and the designation as a Super Lawyer since 1997.
