I was raised in Minnesota. My academic journey took me to St. Mary’s University of Minnesota in Winona, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in business, graduating cum laude. I furthered my education at the University of St. Thomas School of Law, where I held the position of senior editor for the Law Journal and worked as a certified student attorney in the Elder Law Clinic. My legal practice is centered around family law, real estate, and estate planning.

Frederick A. Bechtold has been an attorney for over thirty years, becoming a member of the Florida Bar in 1990, the Minnesota Bar in 1999, the Wisconsin Bar in 2012, and the bar the United States Supreme Court in 2019.
