Jeffrey Simmons Sandoz graduated cum laude from Western Michigan's Cooley Law School in 2010. Dixie was born and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and attended college at Penn State University, where she was a member of many on-campus organizations, including Sigma Kappa sorority. She came to New Orleans to attend Loyola University College of Law, and upon graduation, could not bring herself to leave.
