After graduating in 1985 I was a law clerk for the State First Circuit Court of Appeal. I then practiced in the New Orleans area for two years before moving back to Baton Rouge to establish my private practice in 1988. Jeffrey Simmons Sandoz graduated cum laude from Western Michigan's Cooley Law School in 2010.
