While other lawyers "cover" Bridge City, Brian grew up here. He attended Hatton Elementary, BCJHS and graduated Bridge City High School in 1978 with honors. After graduation he obtained his Bachelors Degree from McMurry University and his Law Degree from Texas Tech University School of Law. Spending 30 plus years in the Dallas - Fort Worth area, he became an experienced civil trial attorney concentrating in insurance defense, personal injury, trucking and construction litigation. He has tried over 200 jury trials to verdict and is rated as a Preeminent Attorney by a major peer review company....

After receiving a bachelor's degree in psychology from Indiana University in 1979, I moved to Dallas to attend law school. I obtained my law degree from Southern Methodist University in 1982. I was in private practice until I joined the Dallas County Public Defender’s Office in 1985. I was assigned to the newly formed juvenile division in 1988, becoming the supervising attorney in 1995, and remained there until 2008 when I returned to private practice. The focus of my practice remains juvenile law.
