I grew up on the shores of Sebec Lake in rural Maine. I attended Princeton University and then returned to Maine with the intention of practicing law. My entire 15 year career has been spent in the Courtroom litigating criminal cases - first as a prosecutor and now for 10 years defending persons charged with crimes in both State and Federal Courts throughout the State.

I have been practicing law since 2005. I represent people charged with crimes in Maine state courts in a number of coastal counties. My practice regularly brings me to Androscoggin, Cumberland, Kennebec, Knox, Lincoln, Sagadahoc, York, and Waldo counties. My clients typically have cases in Superior Court and District Court. The people I help range from juveniles to adults. Everyone deserves a vigorous defense, every case is important, and everyone deserves to be treated with respect. I enlisted in the US Army at a young age and served as a Cavalry Scout (19D), with deployments in Korea, Saudi Arabia, and Ft. Banning, GA. During my time in the military, I climbed the ranks and was accepted into the Officer Candidate School. However, a severe injury during training resulted in my medical withdrawal from OCS and an Honorable Discharge. Amy Fairfield is an accomplished and experienced trial attorney. Amy's commitment and determination to protecting the rights of her clients is legendary.
