In personal, academic, and professional aspects of my life, I have always had an interest in international and cultural affairs. As a child of Turkish and Mexican parents, I was reared in a multi-cultural household, resulting in my conversational use of Spanish and Turkish languages. During my University education, I was a governing member of Trenza, the Hispanic women’s organization, and also participated in the University’s English Language Conversation Partner Program as a English Tutor.
