Education Bachelor Degree, University of Washington, Scientific and Technical Communications Juris Doctorate Degree, University of San Diego Law School Experience Prior to becoming an attorney Ann worked as a technical writer for defense contractors and Fortune 500 corporations. She passed the Idaho Bar Exam and was admitted to practice in Idaho in 2007. She lives in Northern Idaho.

Admitted to legal practice in Idaho and Ohio in 2005, Melissa's career has included civil and criminal law litigation, and workplace experience conducting discrimination and harassment training and investigations for employers and educational institutions and serving as an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Coordinator. Melissa joined the law firm in 2015 and became a shareholder in 2019. In 2021, Melissa received a Service Award from the Idaho State Bar for exemplary service to the legal profession and to Idaho citizens.

Alan J. Coffel was born and raised in Salem, Oregon. He attended the University of Oregon, graduating in 1969 with a B.A. degree in Political Science. After graduating, he spent two years in the U.S. Army with the rank of 1st Lieutenant and had a tour of duty in Vietnam for one year. Upon returning, he attended law school at the University of Idaho, graduating in 1974.
