I have been practicing Family Law for over four years and I enjoy helping people through the difficult times in their lives. I began practicing family law to help children with disabilities and their families. I now help all types of families through custody disputes and divorces by focusing on the needs of the children and the concerns of the parents. My goal is to help the families work together not just during the current difficulties but also in the future.

Michael Araj has more than a decade of family law experience to draw from, including right here in Central Texas. Michael is ready to go to court to fight for his clients whenever the need arises but understands that the best path for many will be the path that resolves his clients’ disputes in negotiation, mediation, and settlement. I retired from the Air Force in the grade of colonel after having served 29 1/2 years active duty. I was a three-time commander at the detachment, squadron and group levels. My first passion is caring about and caring for families in the broader community because they are the foundation of our nation. My other passion is to continue what I did while on active duty - caring about and caring for servicemembers, federal civil servants and families -- whether still serving or in retirement -- in honor of their contributions to our nation.
