I hold Board Certification in Family Law from the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. My legal practice is centered around child custody issues, divorce proceedings, modification suits, as well as premarital and postmarital agreements, among other family-law related matters. While I advocate for amicable resolutions, I am a strong and strategic advocate for my clients' rights. I take a solution-oriented approach and enjoy crafting creative strategies, especially in cases involving children. I primarily serve clients in Dallas, Denton, Tarrant, and Collin Counties.

Barrett comes from a family that has long been a part of the East Texas area. Barrett was born and raised in Tyler. He graduated from Robert E. Lee High School and played catcher for the school’s baseball team. After high school, Barrett attended Texas A&M University where he earned a degree in Sociology as well as a minor in Business. Right after graduating from Texas A&M, Barrett attended South Texas College of Law. I am very experienced in domestic litigation and do appeals in areas of civil law. I am a mediator and a member of the State Bar College. I volunteer at Fathers for Equal Rights and am a member of the American Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas. I am very dedicated to my clients and will always put their interests first. I bring new techniques and strategies to my cases.

Roya was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, and returned to her hometown after several years of practicing family law in Austin, Texas. While in law school at the University of Texas, Roya focused her studies on domestic violence and international human rights law. There, she gained a passion for empowering people and concentrated her work on matters regarding international family law. Roya was then awarded the 2020 Mike A.
