At the Law Offices of Jason Charles Matey, I provide my clients with sound legal council and advocate for my clients rights. I provide personalized and experienced representation for clients dealing with criminal defense, personal injury, bankruptcy, divorce and child custody issues.

I primarily represent clients in matrimonial and family law matters, including divorce, domestic violence proceedings, custody and parenting time disputes, support modification proceedings and enforcement of family court orders and judgments of divorce. I also handle municipal court and real estate matters, estate planning, administration and estate disputes, and other general litigation matters.

Joanna graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Washington in 2006, and graduated with honors from the Seattle University School of Law in 2016. While in law school, Joanna served as a judicial clerk for The Honorable Theresa M. Pouley, the now-retired Chief Judge of the Tulalip Tribal Court. Joanna also published an article that analyzed how tribal domestic violence convictions could potentially be used in subsequent federal criminal proceedings.
