Attorney Brent Olson is the most recent addition to Lacourse, Poole & Envall, P.A. and has been practicing law in Duluth and the surrounding communities since 2009. Throughout his career he has appeared in every Courthouse in the Sixth Judicial District. He is also licensed to practice law in Wisconsin.

I am an experienced trial attorney, and have represented thousands of individuals in times of crises since 1989, in criminal and juvenile cases and family law. I am passionate about helping ordinary people through extraordinary crises and providing them the opportunity to be heard in the process. I am no longer accepting cases.

I have worked as a child support officer, legal assistant, law clerk, certified student attorney, and attorney. I have over nine years experience working in the area of family law. I also prosecute criminal cases for a small town.

I was a late bloomer. I didn't even start on my undergraduate degree until I was 35. Perseverence pays off, however. I made it all the way through undergrad and law school and have been practicing since 1994. Much of that time was spent as a solo practitioner, but I have a colleague who is an equal owner with me. My practice is limited to estate planning (wills and trusts), probate, guardianship/conservatorships and all aspects of family law (divorce, custody, child support, spousal support, property division, etc.)
