Courtney is a University of Denver Sturm College of Law graduate. During her time in law school Courtney knew she had a passion for helping others and getting involved in Estate Planning and Elder Law allowed her to do just that. Courtney is currently a member of the Women's Estate Planning Council board and the Denver Bar Association's Trust and Estate Section.

Personal Experience

Mr. Wells has been litigating cases in Colorado courts for nearly 15 years. He has handled various matters from civil actions to domestic relations cases involving complex financial and custody issues (including parental alienation/estrangement). Mr. Wells handles appellate matters and has successfully challenged trial court rulings in appellate courts. Mr. Wells’ litigation training began as a law intern to Judge Angela Arkin during the Fall of 2003. Mr. Wells receives referrals from friends, colleagues, opposing counsel, opposing parties and family members of opposing parties.

Lawrence “Larry” Zehfuss has over 25 years of legal experience while practicing primarily in the area of family law. Mr. Zehfuss was born in Pittsburgh, PA, where he spent his formative years. He has been a resident of the Denver Metropolitan area since 1996, when he moved here with his family from the East Coast. Mr. Zehfuss earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Wake Forest University and JD degree, cum laude, from California Western School of Law in 1992. Mr. Zehfuss has been admitted to practice law in Colorado as well as Virginia and the District of Columbia.
