Education- While attending law school, Michael was the first student at La Verne Law to volunteer in both the Disability Legal Aid clinic, which protected disabled children's rights, and the Immigration Clinic, which involved representing a client seeking asylum in the United States. Helping people through these clinics only reinforced Michael's belief in the law. Through all of this work, Michael was able to graduate Cum Laude from law school, while at the same time interning at a local law firm to obtain practical experience.

Julia Schneider received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Kansas, with a double major in Spanish and Latin American Studies. After graduation, Ms. Schneider moved to Barranquilla, Columbia where she taught fifth grade science and language arts at a bilingual school. Kandy received a BA in Sociology and and California Teaching Credential from San Diego State University. She received a Masters degree in Counseling from Chapman College. Prior to becoming an attorney she worked as a Probation Officer and Social Worker with children involved in the Juvenile Court related to child abuse and neglect. Kandy's primary area of practice is Juvenile Dependency, representing all parties including parents, relatives and foster parents. Mr. Storey first became acquainted with the criminal justice system as a deputy sheriff in 1970. He completed his education through Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego while working as a deputy and sergeant at the Imperial County Sheriff’s Office.
