Jeff Grotke has successfully litigated in family law, including successfully defending against a claim of marital fraud, and has prevailed at trial in a claim of marital fraud and abuse of an elderly person. He has extensive experience with loan modifications, including post-foreclosure defense, bankruptcy actions, and other loan modification litigation. Personal injury cases are also about one-third of his practice, including auto-collision cases.

With 15 years’ experience in the family law arena, Ms. Albelais’ rates are very competitive. Ms. Albelais has been an attorney for eight (8) years with ten years’ prior experience as a family law paralegal. As a result of her extensive family law background, Ms. Albelais knows the ins and outs of the practice of family law and the needs of a family law client.

Education- While attending law school, Michael was the first student at La Verne Law to volunteer in both the Disability Legal Aid clinic, which protected disabled children's rights, and the Immigration Clinic, which involved representing a client seeking asylum in the United States. Helping people through these clinics only reinforced Michael's belief in the law. Through all of this work, Michael was able to graduate Cum Laude from law school, while at the same time interning at a local law firm to obtain practical experience.

Maggie Simoneaux earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with minors in Economics and Spanish from the University of New Orleans in 2003. She was awarded her Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from Western State College of Law in 2008. During law school, she served as the Year in Review Editor for the Western State College of Law Law Review and graduated in the top five percent of her class.
