I am the senior shareholder in Coplen & Banks, PC. I have been practicing law for approximately 35 years, with extensive experience in commercial, insurance, family, probate and personal injury litigation. Because of my education background, my practice is 50% litigation and 50% business transactions, wills, trust and probate.

After serving as law clerk on the Federal Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals for two years, entered private practice of law in 1972. Practice includes transactional commercial and residential real estate, small business, wills and estate planning, and franchising law.

Mr. Fuqua, a native Houstonian, represents clients in matters relating to the drafting of wills, trusts, ancillary documents and related estate planning documents. He has experience in probate administration and litigation including but not limited to representing creditors in probate proceedings, representing applicants and contestants in guardianship proceedings, representing personal representatives, beneficiaries, and guardians in matters relating to the administration of estates and guardianships and related matters.
