I am very experienced in domestic litigation and do appeals in areas of civil law. I am a mediator and a member of the State Bar College. I volunteer at Fathers for Equal Rights and am a member of the American Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas. I am very dedicated to my clients and will always put their interests first. I bring new techniques and strategies to my cases.

Melvin’s legal journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in English from Texas A&M University, followed by earning his Juris Doctor from the Florida Coastal School of Law. Since becoming licensed in Texas in 2005, he has expanded his expertise by being admitted to all four federal districts in Texas and federal court in Colorado. Born in Durban, South Africa, and raised in Mesquite, Texas, Melvin has spent most of his life in the DFW area.
