I graduated from Elon University School of Law's charter class in 2009. I eventually made my way back to Carteret County, North Carolina, in 2013. My focus now is primarily on family law, including divorce, custody, spousal support, property division, and domestic violence. I also do some estate planning. When I am not advocating for my clients, I enjoy walks and relaxing on the beach, sports, reading non-legal books, and spending time with my spoiled dog, Curly.

I am a native of Pitt County, North Carolina. After completing college I was commissioned in the US Navy and served as an Assistant Supply Officer during three deployments aboard the USS Independence (CV-62). I have an interest in politics, the law, history, the Episcopal Church and in Eastern North Carolina.

Stephanie concentrates her practice in the area of wills and estate planning. She assists clients with the preparation of estate planning documents, and counsels regarding the best estate planning strategy for each individual. Particular services include the preparation and review of a will, a financial power-of-attorney, a health care power-of-attorney, or a health care advance directive ("living will"). She offers both individual planning documents and affordable bundles of common documents for both individuals and spouses.
