Makayla has been practicing law in Mayfield since graduating from Northern Kentucky University Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 2012. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Murray State University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree in political science. She is a 2005 graduate of Graves County High School.

Born and raised on a family farm in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, my journey to the law is deeply connected with my roots. Growing up, I never really worked a traditional job like many of my friends did. Rather I grew up working on our family farm, where my parents still live and work today.
