Education- While attending law school, Michael was the first student at La Verne Law to volunteer in both the Disability Legal Aid clinic, which protected disabled children's rights, and the Immigration Clinic, which involved representing a client seeking asylum in the United States. Helping people through these clinics only reinforced Michael's belief in the law. Through all of this work, Michael was able to graduate Cum Laude from law school, while at the same time interning at a local law firm to obtain practical experience.

Mr. Ehson Salaami Mr. Salaami was born and raised in California. He graduated from San Diego State University (SDSU) with a business degree in personal financial planning. Before attending law school at California Western to pursue a legal education in the consumer and business fields, Mr. Salaami co-founded and operated two upscale residential care facilities for the elderly in La Jolla. Eric Smith received his bachelor’s degree from UCSD in 1995 and his law degree from Pepperdine University in 1997. Eric holds the Certified Financial Planner(TM) designation. He has been a securities dispute arbitrator for FINRA and taught retirement planning classes for Cal Lutheran’s MBA program. He is a member of the California Bar, the Ventura County Bar Association, and the Financial Planner’s Association of Ventura County. He is co-owner of Lifetime Planning, Inc., a financial planning firm in Camarillo. He resides in Ventura with his spouse, Jamie King, and their children, Kell and Leif.
