As a Deputy Attorney General (D.A.G.), Cynthia spent ten years vigorously defending the interests of the people of the State of Texas in a variety of personal injury actions including automobile accidents, train accidents and slip and falls. She also defended railroad claims brought pursuant to the Federal Employers Liability Act.

Emma grew up in Houston, Texas. She later moved to San Marcos, Texas and received a Bachelor of Arts in English at Texas State University. In college, she discovered her passion for justice and advocacy. After graduating from college, Emma knew she wanted to return to her roots and practice law in Houston. Charles L. Scalise was born in Hampton, Iowa. Mr. Scalise received his undergraduate degree from Truman State University in 1985, and his juris doctorate from the University of Iowa College of Law in 1988. While attending the University of Iowa College of Law, he was published in the Iowa Law Review and later served as an Associate Manager Editor for that journal. Mr. Scalise practices civil litigation with an emphasis on employment law.
