Before I became an Attorney, I was a Physical Therapist in large teaching hospitals, in private clinics, and in home care. And, prior to becoming a Physical Therapist, I was a Molecular Biologist doing research in protein synthesis. Having a strong analytical background with experience in health care gives me a unique perspective on planning for the future.

Attorney Marilyn Toland is a graduate of Fisk University and Yale Law School. The daughter of civil rights activists, Marilyn grew up in Tuskegee, Alabama where she witnessed how the law can be used to change people's lives. The firm's mission is to help clients hold on to the assets they have worked to acquire, care for the ones they love and create a meaningful legacy. Toland Law is celebrating our 15th anniversary. I started a business at 25 with two partners, knowing very little about the industry (a dental group). We grew the brand to over 40 locations across the Northeast before consummating a private equity sale. Attorney Breg was born in Fort Knox, Kentucky and grew up in Southbury. He currently resides in Watertown and practices out of the firm’s Southbury Office. Bill Breg practices in the areas of estate planning and probate administration with experience in the local probate courts. As a professional member of PLAN of Connecticut, Attorney Breg counsels individuals with special needs and advises them about special needs trusts. Attorney Breg also practices in the area of real estate.

Andrew was born and raised in Cheshire, CT. After attending college, Andrew returned back to Connecticut and studied law at Quinnipiac University. Thereafter, he came to work with his father, who was then a solo. After five years, Andrew became a partner. Knott & Knott has four lawyers. Andrew is married with one child.

Taylor has experience litigating cases at the Administrative Hearing; Probate Court; Superior Court; Appellate Court; District Court; and the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals level.
