I retired from the Air Force in the grade of colonel after having served 29 1/2 years active duty. I was a three-time commander at the detachment, squadron and group levels. My first passion is caring about and caring for families in the broader community because they are the foundation of our nation. My other passion is to continue what I did while on active duty - caring about and caring for servicemembers, federal civil servants and families -- whether still serving or in retirement -- in honor of their contributions to our nation.

Rick Davis graduated from Texas A&M University class of ‘85 where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering. While at Texas A&M University, he was a member of the Fight'n Texas Aggie Corps of Cadets and, upon graduation, was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army. After becoming a qualified Infantry Officer, he served for ten years in the 49th Armored Division of the Texas Army National Guard as a qualified Armor Officer. Amir Tavakkoli, founder of the firm, was the Vice President of his law school class and graduated Summa Cum Laude.
