Kristine opened her law practice in 1997 after graduating from St. Thomas Law School. Kristine practices primary in the area of family law, which includes divorce, child custody, paternity, modifications and enforcement actions. Kristine takes pride in her personal attention to her clients and her efforts to settle her family law cases to avoid the expense and emotional trauma caused by long drawn out litigation. Patrice's entire career has been in community work: protecting the community from registered sex offenders, protecting abused, abandoned, and neglected children and helping families at risk of homelessness and other legal matters jeopardizing their safety and stability. Her career further focuses on the service of veterans, people living with HIV/AIDS, LGBTQ+, victims of domestic violence, and the elderly. Patrice is actively engaged in collaboration with Broward community partners, strategic planning, and program design. She has presented at national conferences regarding the law and particularly how it impacts vulnerable communities and how innovative solutions reach those target populations.
