I've been practicing criminal law since 2004 after graduating from the University of Virginia School of Law. I started my career as an assistant public defender in the Texas Panhandle, where I learned to try cases of all types. I moved to Austin in 2006 to become a prosecutor at the Travis County District Attorney's Office, where I stayed for 15 years.
