Gene is an attorney from McKinney, Texas and has been a resident of Collin County since 1995. He graduated from UCLA and Texas Wesleyan School of Law in Fort Worth and began his legal career as a prosecutor for the Denton County District Attorney’s Office. Upon leaving the DA’s office, Gene became a sole practitioner in criminal defense serving both Collin and Denton Counties. During his thirteen years of practice, he has evaluated thousands of cases and has gained significant trial experience.

I have practiced family law, including divorces, custody, and adoptions for 24 years. I practice in Hunt County.

I have 27 years of criminal experience. For 10 years I gained my core experience at the Dallas County District Attorney's trying jury trials and the last 17 Ive been protecting individuals rights. Ive tried over 300 jury trials and handled over 9000 criminal cases in Federal and State courts. I was fortunate to gain extensive Federal experience by working for former United States Attorney James Rolfe. My experience ranges from every type of Federal case to over 140 murder cases in State court.

Samantha Chambers began her legal career as a prosecutor with the Collin County District Attorney’s Office in September 2008, shortly after graduating with honors from the SMU Dedman School of Law in Dallas. Prior to law school, Mrs. Chambers received both Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees in English from Texas A&M University where she taught rhetoric and composition. During law school she focused her studies and experience on criminal procedure and litigation.
