I am a criminal defense lawyer in Nashville and the Middle Tennessee area. I represent clients charged with general misdemeanors, felonies, DUI, drug offenses, seizures and forfeitures, probation violations, orders of protection, and within appeals.

I started my career in the justice system as a police officer for 16 years. I move to the District Attorney's office after graduating from law school. I was team leader in the vehicular crimes division. In 2000 began my career in private practice. Sais Phillips Finney attended both The University of Tennessee, Knoxville and The University of Memphis. Prior to attending law school, she worked in the United States Senate and in higher education. While a law student, she interned in the Memphis District Attorney's office assisting with violent felony prosecutions.
