I am a general practitioner with an emphasis in criminal defense and personal injury who practices in northeast Ohio, including Wayne, Ashland, Medina, Holmes, and Richland counties.

Mr. Shaffer is a native of Steubenville,Ohio. He is married to Arlene B. Angel-Shaffer, Esq. who is currently retired. His daughter, Sarah and her husband are both Registered Nurses. They are the proud parents of three sons. His oldest son, Daniel is a student at Carlow Univerity and working at HVL Laboratories. His younger son, Joseph is currently serving in the United States Air Force.

Douglas Riddell's practice is devoted to defending clients facing DUI / OVI, traffic and criminal misdemeanor charges. With of years of experience practicing criminal defense in Central Ohio, he personally reviews, analyzes and implements a unique proactive defense strategy in each and every case that comes into to his office.

I grew up in the Central Ohio area (small town of Bexley OH) and attended The Ohio State University for my undergraduate degree before obtaining my Juris Doctorate in Law at Capital University Law School.
