I have been practicing law for 28 years with a focus on criminal law for 26 of those years. I have been a public defender in Clark, Floyd, Harrison and Orange counties. I practice in those counties as well as Scott, Crawford, Washington, Jefferson. I am also licensed in Kentucky, practicing only in Jefferson county on that side of the river. I have handled murder cases as well as all other high level felony matters. I also handle low level felonies, misdemeanors and traffic infraction cases. I graduated cum laude from Drake University Law School where I was Chairman of our Moot Court Team, arguing in national competition. I greatly enjoyed learning the law and was a member of, and wrote for the Drake Law Review. In my third year the University allowed me to double my academic hours and graduate a semester early, which had not before been extended to a Drake law student.
