I graduated with honors from the University Arkansas at Fayetteville as a Criminal Justice major. I then attended law school in little rock. While there, I clerked for criminal defense attorney for two years before taking the bar.

I was born and raised in Cotton Plant, Arkansas, a place where wild animals outnumbered people and everyone was a farmer, not a lawyer. In fact, I didn't meet a lawyer until I sought one out in college, having already decided to pursue a career in law.
