I graduated Cum Laude with my J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 1974. After many years of practicing law, I founded Ruane Attorneys at Law, LLC, a criminal defense law firm based in Connecticut, in 2001 with my son Jay Ruane. Our practice areas include criminal defense, DUI defense, juvenile defense, civil rights, and other areas of criminal law.

Since 1981 Attorney Ponzini has been providing legal services in the fields of divorce, personal injury, criminal and civil litigation. He has served as a Special Public Defender and Outside Counsel to the Connecticut Attorney General. Attorney Ponzini has tried jury trials to verdict, State and Federal criminal cases in Connecticut and New York and has represented clients in felony cases, civil, divorce, custody and personal injury matters. He also has been successful in the representing clients in obtaining Medicaid in both Connecticut and NY including drafting asset safe guarding Trusts, which have been approved by Regulatory Agencies....
