Mr. Shaffer is a native of Steubenville,Ohio. He is married to Arlene B. Angel-Shaffer, Esq. who is currently retired. His daughter, Sarah and her husband are both Registered Nurses. They are the proud parents of three sons. His oldest son, Daniel is a student at Carlow Univerity and working at HVL Laboratories. His younger son, Joseph is currently serving in the United States Air Force.

After 40 years with Lerner, Sampson & Rothfuss, more than 20 of them in the role of Director of Litigation, I have started DeBlasis Law Firm, LLC. I plan to continue practicing in the fields of civil litigation, bankruptcy, debtor-creditor, and real estate law. Although not a young pup anymore, I still have great energy and enthusiasm for the law and problem-solving.
