Mr. Johnson is a graduate of Hanford High School ('87), Pepperdine University ('00, B.S., Business Science Management), and University of West Los Angeles, College of Law, San Fernando Campus ('04, J.D.). He was the President of the Student Bar Association from 2001-2002 and was a Law Review Member from 2003-2004. In 2004 Mr. Johnson joined Griswold, LaSalle, Cobb, Dowd & Gin, LLP and has been selected to the 2009-2014 Northern California Rising Stars List and was recently included in the 2016-2020 Northern California Super Lawyers List.

I have a successful business litigation and civil appellate practice. I also represent both debtors and creditors in Chapter 7, Chapter 11 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies. I represent individuals and businesses in Chapter 11 reorganizations. I also represent both plaintiffs and defendants in bankruptcy adversary proceedings in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of California and the Eastern District of California.

David is a litigator specializing in Real Estate Law and Business Law, in Santa Cruz and Santa Clara Counties. Born and raised in the midwest, David is a family man married over 38 years with two grown children and two grandchildren. David has been living in Santa Cruz since 1980.
