Q. Timeline for completing course after signing Paternity Acknowledgment in Florida
A: The completion of the class is a statutory requirement in cases involving minor children. Therefore, it can be taken anytime prior to final judgment in the paternity case. Once taken, file the certificate of completion so that it's in the court file to prevent delay of getting a final judgment.
Q. What happens if I claim my child on taxes against the agreement due to changed circumstances?
A: Good Afternoon

You would be in violation of a court order. You cannot unilaterally change terms of a court order because the other party is not obeying the order. I suggest you file your modification supp pet or contempt.
Q. Liability concerns for child's cruise travel permission.
A: Good Afternoon

I am a family law attorney and there are no family law related concerns based on your post. A family law judge would not assess liability for a death. That would be criminal law. The only time that may become relevant in a family law case is if there were other children involve, and an argument is being made to change or modify time sharing based on negligent behavior due to what occurred with the death of one child. If Father is responsible (sounds like he is since he has majority time share), and the cruise line is reputable (no grounds to think they would be negligent), then I do not see a family law connection.
