Tricia "Trish" Connolly has dedicated two decades of her life to serving the vibrant communities of New York City with the NYPD. She also served over 11 years as a devoted officer in the United States Marine Corps, achieving the rank of Major.
Today, she is just as passionately committed to ensuring that legal services are not only affordable, but also accessible, for everyone she supports, striving to make a meaningful difference in their lives.
Trish began her law enforcement career on patrol in the 13th Precinct in Manhattan and was moved to the 79th Precinct in Brooklyn upon getting promoted to sergeant. During those years, she served combat tours in Afghanistan, Bahrain, and Jordan with the Marines.
She served nearly 8 years in the Force Investigation Division (FID), investigating police-involved shootings, along with civilian deaths pre- and post-police custody. During this time, she was promoted to Sergeant Detective Squad Supervisor.
While with FID, Trish committed to attending law school part-time, graduating from Seton Hall School of Law in May 2023, passing the NYS bar exam in July 2023 (scoring in the top 5% nationally), and becoming a NYS licensed attorney in December 2023.
As a Sergeant Detective, Trish made the move to the Manhattan Special Victims Squad (DUN DUN), where she supervised and assisted in the investigation, prosecution, and adjudication of sex crimes occurring in Manhattan.
As of December 2024, Trish works in the NYPD's Equal Employment Opportunity Division under the Police Commissioner's Office and investigates EEO complaints, diligently seeking to making a difference within the walls of the NYPD and helping to ensure an equitable and just working environment for all.

Rates, Retainers and Additional Information
Generally, I operate on a fixed fee for services and if needed, we can create a payment plan that fits your budget. Hourly services are also available. I apply 50% of the paid consultation fee toward your final bill for a Will or Trust plan.
