
Terry Michael Sugrue

Mr. Sugrue has prosecuted hundreds of grievances at arbitration involving complex contractual and disciplinary issues, including termination. He is experienced before various administrative agencies including the Public Employment Relations Board, Workers Compensation Board, Unemployment Insurance Appeal Board, and Division of Human Rights. He has counseled clients on various labor and employment matters, including matters arising under the Civil Service Law, Taylor Law, New York Human Rights Law, Fair Labor Standards Act, Family Medical Leave Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Civil Rights Act. Mr. Sugrue is licensed to practice in New York State and the United States District Court, Western District of New York. He has successfully argued before the Courts of New York State, at all levels, on numerous actions, special proceedings, motions, and appeals. Mr. Sugrue is a member of the Erie County Bar Association (Labor Law Committee and Appellate Practice Committee), Labor and Employment Relations Association, and the AFL CIO Lawyers Coordinating Committee. Mr. Sugrue graduated cum laude from Oswego State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science. He graduated with a Juris Doctor degree from the University at Buffalo Law School.
