Scott was trained at one of the nation’s top intellectual property law firms. Prior to Eastgate IP, Scott practiced intellectual property law as a patent attorney at Knobbe Martens, managing portfolios of intellectual property, prosecuting patent applications, and conducting due diligence for companies of all sizes – including Fortune 500 companies, start-ups, and independent inventors.
Scott has prosecuted patents across a wide range of technologies including software, mechanical devices, medical devices, cosmetics, food & beverage, and biotechnology. Scott has extensive experience preparing infringement opinions and conducting validity analyses of competitor portfolios.
