Scott J. Jontiff

Scott was born and raised in South Florida. He received his undergraduate degree at the University of Florida and his Juris Doctor degree at the University of Miami School of Law. For the past 30 years, Scott has represented in excess of a thousand individuals and families who have been injured due to the negligence of other persons, corporations or other entities. This includes Automobile accidents, Wrongful Death, Medical Malpractice, Nursing Home Abuse, Slip or Trip and Fall cases and the enforcement of rights against insurance companies. Through his representation, Scott also guides his clients through the many challenges that arise during a personal injury case, from the initial intake through the conclusion of the case and beyond. A: There are several considerations for the attorneys who represent the injured person(s). Among those considerations, they will determine if the person who was driving the car also owned the car; or, did another person or entity own the car. If the at-fault driver is also the owner, only that person can be held liable and sued. If the car was owned by another person or entity, then that other person or entity can also be held liable and sued. If the injuries and damages are serious enough, comprehensive investigative reports will be obtained for all potentially liable persons and entities.
